Microprinting: Tiny Prints with Big Security

Microprinting is a technique where very small text or patterns are printed, often so tiny they are difficult to see with the naked eye. It is widely used as a security feature in documents, banknotes, checks, and identity cards to prevent counterfeiting and forgery.

The text or symbols are typically readable only under magnification. For example, a line that appears as a simple stroke may actually contain tiny repeating words or numbers. Because it is extremely hard to reproduce with standard printing methods, microprinting adds a strong layer of protection.
